DJ Gruvhard

Hello, I am DJ Gruvhard, I have been a DJ, Producer, Recording Artist, Artist, and photographer for a long long time, I fell in love with synth pop, new wave and punk in my early days living in Germany. Moving into industrial musicI was in and industrial band named UTO, We had 2 releases in the early 90s and playing shows with Front Line Assembly and more. Techno was the next revolution in my musical journey. My crew and I produced and promoted the first rave in Akron Ohio on June 15th, 1992 called A Mid-Summer Dream. I did a live PA of original music from a project called NUMB. I also DJed under the name of Dreamweaver. I later changed to my name now DJ Gruvhard. In 2003, I had my son and took a hiatus of about 20 years. in 2016 on a 4 day hike on the Inca trail to Machu Picchu I had a vision that I still have a lot of music in me. It still took me almost 8 years to get back into the groove. After having a fall and severely breaking my leg to kicking cancer's ass. I am 3 years cancer-free and enjoying my second chance at life. I have been DJing again at local techno gigs and started working on my first album in 25 years. I have had the name the Boom Factory in my mind since the early 90's. I wanted a place that was a production company and record label all in one. I will be doing a lot of producing now so keep coming back and hearing new tracks...
